A checklist before travelling to Istanbul for dental care
Prepare questions about your schedule, written treatment scope and follow-up before booking travel.
Before booking flights
Tell the clinic your country and possible dates. Ask how much time is needed for examination, treatment stages and review. A remote conversation cannot confirm a diagnosis or final schedule.
Read the written plan
Clarify proposed procedures, alternatives, fee inclusions, exclusions and possible additional visits in writing. Ask what happens if the plan changes after examination.
Confirm travel arrangements separately
Discuss flights, accommodation, transfers, interpretation and companion needs separately. Mentioning a service on a website does not mean it is included. Confirm booking and cancellation terms with the provider.
Plan for your return
Ask about review appointments, care instructions and the contact channel after returning home. Before treatment, clarify whom to contact and how if a new concern arises.
